The foundation forms have been set and we are going to pour the walls on Wednesday, November 25th. The moment frame embed bolts were inspected and signed off on Friday, 11/20.
The surveyor came out and re-shot and marked the south east property corner and east property line. We are making great progress and looking forward to a long Thanksgiving Weekend.
Our Denizen Construction Vashon Custom Build is moving along well. We have some upcoming onsite work happening this week starting with the structural fill near the garage. The Rockery will start towards the end of next week. Other key dates for this month include; The driveway pour, stair pour, and fencing on August 29. April and May saw great progress on our Denizen Construction Vashon Custom Build. The solar panels and all the tile work has been completed, exterior decking is nearly finished, and we are working on the wood flooring. The countertops have been measured as we push to finish the house. You will notice our exterior fence starting next month with a beautiful cedar and ornamental iron work. Since our last update we have accomplished a lot of work! PSE delivered gas service to the home. Our siding contractor completed a very custom front entry using Neolith cladding. All our inspections were approved paving the way for insulation and drywall. Exterior railing work began, and we selected exterior paint colors. Cabinets are set to arrive March 4th and the interior finishes will begin! Our job site trailer will be picked up at the end of March will allow us to start our septic system install and final grading so we can prepare to install the driveway and landscaping.
